Crostini (et al) Hardware Key Passthrough

Brought this up over a year ago and hoping to get some understanding of whether this will be supported or not.  Specifically, being able to use hardware keys (Yubikey, et al) Passthrough into container.

This is increasingly a concern for us as we can't authenticate various IDPs (Google, 1PW, etc) from within a container.

Any movement or plan on this?  It's literally the only security pain in the ass we have using chromebooks and is effectively a blocker for proper data integration and isolation.  Think of it as a project per container where you don't want any of the assets on the main Chromebook (My files).
