Just recently, my Google Chrome canary was hacked, leading to fraud transactions.
Does Chrome have any sort of technical log/details as to what and how this attack could have occurred? No sort of remote access was setup with windows or chrome during the date/time of the attack.
When accessed, the attacker was able to use google chrome at free will, performing searches for such things as: Binance, and coinbase. They also used Chrome to access sites such as: G2a.com, paypal, eneba, pubg mobile, midasbuy, amazon, leading to some fraud transactions through these sites. The attacker also had full access to linked google accounts, searching through such things as gmail, photos, messages, etc. Most of this information was obtained through google history/data downloads.
What options are available to search through, to figure out how the attacker was able to get full access to chrome and basically use it at free will? Any IP/technical data available through Chrome itself and who/what was connected and controlling it during the time of the attack?
