Hi everyone,
Season of Docs is a program run by Google to fund documentation projects in the open source space. The
application process starts on Feb 15 and consists of submitting a
proposal. If selected, they'll provide a grant to (primarily) hire a technical writer.
We thought it would be a good opportunity for Bazel to participate as part of our effort to improve our docs, but unfortunately, since we're a Google-funded OSS project, we're not eligible. However, if there are other projects in our ecosystem that would benefit from better documentation, they can apply and also contribute some fixes to the Bazel docs as needed.
We'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on this and gauge interest. Is this something we can/should look into as a group?
Best,
Keerthana
