Does Robot Framework create the folder if the folder does not exist in system yet?

It depends in which is used to create a folder. Example if you are referring to the output directory, then yes, that is created automatically. But if you are referring to some keyword which points to a path, then it depends on the keyword. Could you tell what is your use case is and if it is a keyword, then which keyword it is.
